We all remember the “Chewbacca Mum”, Candace Payne, who took a video of herself wearing a Chewbacca mask and uploaded the video to social media. The video became viral and was one of the most watched videos of 2016.
Another mum, Katie Stricker Curtis decided to wear her Chewbacca mask while going through labour. The video was filmed on Facebook live and so far has had 86,000 views.
The Detroit mother posted a comment on the video,
“Just because I’m about to be a mom doesn’t mean I have to grow up! Bwahahahahs never take life too seriously! Best Christmas gift ever!”

Curtis wore the mask during her labour, and each cry she made during each contraction sounds worse though the Chewbacca mask.
The young-at-heart mum ended up giving birth to a baby boy, Jayden.
We’re not sure if the video will go as viral as the first Chewbacca Mum video even though it’s painfully hilarious to watch, but it might come close though.
