A Mother has had her mobile phone stolen that contains precious photos of her stillborn son.

Fiona Dillon from Adelaide left her phone at a supermarket checkout and only minutes later when she returned to get it, it was gone.

She is pleading for the return of the phone which holds irreplaceable photos of her stillborn son, Owen.

“The moments that we photographed were my own private and personal moments with Owen and they really are irreplaceable,” she told The Advertiser. “It was only five months ago that he died and it is so raw. Every day is really tough so to not have that with me … it’s devastating. It’s the only thing I have left.”

“I don’t really care about the phone, I just want the content,” she said. “I don’t understand how the phone is useful to them. It’s password-protected and locked to Vodafone. It’s probably in a bin somewhere but to me it’s priceless.”

She posted her plea to Facebook and her story has been shared nearly 100,000 times.

“If you or someone you know has this phone, I urge you to please find it in your heart to come forward and return the phone anonymously to Jimmie’s Take Away at Seaford Meadows, no questions asked. My hope is that whoever has my phone can find it in their heart to give me back something that I can never replace.”
