A Tiffany & Co. Inspired 1st Birthday Party

Every week I come across amazing party themes which have me oohing and aahing over decoration ideas and cakes. When I came across the Tiffany and Co. party theme, I knew it was one that I wanted to imitate myself for my daughter’s 1st Birthday Party.

You see if you read my personal blog at The Plumbette, you would know that my 3rd daughter was a beautiful surprise and there is not much of an age difference between her and my second daughter. To reach one year after parenting three kids under 4 was a proud moment for us and we wanted to celebrate the milestone with style. And what could be more perfect than a Tiffany and Co party dedicated to our last baby girl Phoebe. This is how I arranged our Tiffany & Co. Inspired 1st Birthday Party.

While the cake looked quite simple to make, I am a fool with fondant so I hired a local cake caterer to create our cake and put in a special order for macarons in the Tiffany and Co colour theme with white iced ribbons to match.

The decorations were sourced for a number of different places. The bunting, pin wheels, party favour bags, plates, cups, serviettes and table cloth were sourced from our local discount store. Everything was $2-$3 and it cost approximately $40 to kit the food table with Tiffany & Co Blue and white décor.

The food was a selection of brunch style finger food snacks including cheese and tomato croissants, egg and bacon quiches, mini pancakes with jam and cream, macarons, caramel cupcakes and strawberry and cheese cups.

To make drinks easier to recognize, I placed stickers on each Pop Top juice bottle and wrote each child’s name on it so that we knew which drink belonged to who.

The party favour bags were filled with a selection of lollies and dress up jewellery including a plastic diamond ring.

To keep the kids entertained I had buckets of bubbles the kids could blow. I also had a craft station where kids could decorate their own tiara or make a fruit loops (cereal) bracelet using baking twine.

Overall the party was a success and the theme was a fun way to celebrate our daughter’s first Birthday.

Have you been inspired by any of the themes here on Go Ask Mum? If you have we’d love to hear from you so we can feature your party on the blog.
