A Mum Has Shared Her Hack to Deal With Her Clingy Baby Who Won’t Let Her Leave The Room

Every mum can relate to having a clingy baby.

Separation anxiety can be challenging to deal with when things need to be done around the home. It can be heartbreaking and frustrating to have a baby cry the moment you leave the room.

It’s a universal problem that one mum has tried to solve with a simple hack that sounds a little creepy, but has fixed the problem.

The mum shared her hack with members of Chile’s online community Maternidarks and it’s been shared by over 1800 Facebook users.

The mum explained, “My baby is going through that stage in which when I’m out of his sight, he starts crying, and I need to make lunch! He doesn’t want me to hold him or to play with him, he just NEEDS to know that I’m beside him, he doesn’t even look at me at the eyes, only turns around to check that me (or my leg) is indeed, there,” she wrote.

To solve the issue, the crafty mum filled a pair of her jeans with stuffed animals, added some boots to the hem of the jeans, allowing for a gap between the legs so her baby can move through it’s legs.

It sounds like a lot of effort, but the hack has helped this mum and the baby is unaware that his mum has left the room. We just wonder what happens when he does eventually look up?
